FAQs
What are trauma-informed practices, and why are they important?
Trauma-informed practices recognize that many patients and clients have experienced trauma and that trauma can influence how people respond to healthcare and behavioral health settings. Implementing trauma-informed practices helps organizations create environments that promote safety, trust, collaboration, and choice while reducing practices that may unintentionally retraumatize patients or clients. These approaches can improve the experience of care while supporting stronger engagement and outcomes.
Can you help us implement trauma-informed practices into our current system and policies?
Yes. We can help organizations incorporate trauma-informed practices into existing policies, procedures, programming, and clinical practice. The scope of consultation is customized to your organization's goals and may include reviewing current practices, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing practical recommendations for implementation.
How can my agency benefit from the development of specialized tracks?
Specialized tracks allow organizations to develop programming that addresses the specific needs of their population while expanding the services they can provide. We can support organizations in determining the clinical framework, developing curriculum and materials, and implementing the track within their existing level of care.
How long do your training sessions typically last?
The length of each training session is customized to fit the unique needs of your office, agency, or program. We’ll work with you to determine the best duration that ensures a meaningful and engaging learning experience for your team.
Do you provide ongoing support after trainings are completed?
Yes, we’re happy to provide ongoing support to ensure that the skills learned are effectively generalized. This support is available on an as-needed basis and is offered for an additional cost, which will be clearly outlined in your individualized proposal. We’re here to help your team every step of the way to ensure lasting success and continued growth.
How do you customize your training for different organizational settings (e.g., private practices vs. larger agencies)?
We understand that each organization is unique, which is why we customize our training to fit the specific needs and structure of your setting. For private practices, we focus on practical, hands-on strategies that can be implemented by smaller teams, while for larger agencies, we offer scalable solutions that address broader organizational needs and team dynamics. Whether you are a small practice or a large agency, we work closely with you to ensure the training aligns with your goals, resources, and the specific challenges you face.
Do you offer consulting services to existing programs or tracks?
Yes, we can consult to your agency’s pre-existing program or track. We provide feedback, identify areas where additional training may be beneficial, and offer suggestions to enhance program effectiveness. Our goal is to help strengthen your program and ensure that your services align with best practices for your specific client population. We also provide support to already established DBT consultation teams in areas such as team cohesion, logistics, or conflict resolution.
Can you develop a training or program that isn't listed on your website?
Yes. The topics and services listed on our website represent examples of our work rather than a complete list of what we offer. We regularly develop customized training, consultation, and programming based on the specific needs and goals of an organization.

How do you ensure that your training is accessible and inclusive for all participants?
We are committed to creating training experiences that are accessible and inclusive for all participants. We take the time to understand the diverse needs of your team and can adapt our materials and delivery methods to ensure everyone can fully engage. Whether through providing materials in different formats, offering visual learning aides, or adjusting the pace of the training, we make every effort to create an environment where all participants feel welcome and empowered to learn. If there are any specific accommodations needed, we are always happy to work with you to ensure a positive and inclusive experience for all.
What are the fees for your services?
Fees vary depending on the scope of the project, including the type of service, customization required, and time involved. After an initial conversation about your needs, we provide a proposal outlining the recommended services and associated fees.
What does the process look like if we're interested in working with you?
