Transforming healthcare practices.
Training and Consultation
We work with organizations to develop relevant, engaging training and provide consultation around the clinical and organizational challenges they are navigating. Each engagement is customized to your organization's goals, audience, and needs.
Our training and consultation services span a range of clinical and organizational topics. We also develop customized training based on the specific goals, needs, and audience of your organization. Our areas of focus include:
-
We provide customized DBT training and consultation for organizations at any stage of program development or implementation. Trainings can range from an introduction to DBT principles and skills to more advanced clinical topics, including treatment planning, behavior chain analysis, diary cards, phone coaching, change and acceptance strategies, crisis management, and consultation team implementation and support. Training can be customized to the experience of your staff and the needs of your program.
-
We provide trauma-focused training for behavioral health professionals working with individuals impacted by trauma. Trainings can range from foundational concepts to more advanced clinical topics, including trauma and the nervous system, dissociation, attachment, emotion regulation, trauma and substance use, complex trauma, and evidence based interventions for trauma recovery. Training can be customized to the experience of your staff and the needs of your program.
-
Our LGBTQIA+ competency training is designed to equip healthcare providers with the knowledge and tools to effectively care for individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community. Trainings can range from foundational concepts to more advanced topics, including LGBTQIA+ terminology and identity, barriers to care, intersectionality, working with transgender and gender-diverse clients, and creating more affirming and inclusive practices. Training can be customized to the needs of your organization.
-
Our trauma-informed care training helps healthcare organizations implement trauma-informed practices across settings including medical offices, hospitals, fertility clinics, long- and short-term care facilities, and treatment centers. The training provides an overview of traumatic stress and its impact on physical and mental health, along with practical strategies for communication, screening, advocacy, consent, and appropriate accommodations.
Participants learn how to recognize trauma responses, better support patients who have experienced trauma, and strengthen collaboration between patients and providers. The training focuses on creating healthcare environments where patients feel respected, heard, and safe while supporting better patient experiences and outcomes.
